Dear my HERev Family,

HERevolution started when a very good friend of mine convinced me to open an all-woman’s cycling store front in Solana Beach, California. He felt there was no one better than I to help introduce the sport to women. My passion, drive, talent and history seemed to be a perfect match. He was so right. HERevolution became the bridge between the desire to try a triathlon or cycling race, to completing one. I have never been so happy watching a never-thought-she-could-be-athlete to become one. The retail clothing and accessories was just a fraction of HERev, though just as important. Knowing to do good, one must feel good and look good. Never did I realize how gratifying it would be to see how flattering HERev Ladies looked in our highest quality gear or how they would totally rock our fashionable designs. I loved all the compliments and is what kept me going.

I have learned in my life to stay true to my principles. HERev gear was proudly made in USA with high quality fabric. I swore never to put my girls in anything less after I experienced the feel of a high-quality kit. Today, I continue to stay true to my principles. I have had to come to the realization that in order for HERev to be profitable, I would need to move production over-sees, produce in house, or raise prices. I will not produce out of the US, I will not raise my prices and sadly, I don’t have what it takes, on my own, to take the entire production and business side of HERev. Therefore, with a very heavy heart, I will be closing HERevolution.

I want to thank you, my HERev Family, for making HERev possible. You all know HERev wasn’t just a brand, it was about supporting other women to be all they can be and conquering the unthinkable. It was also about the simple act of helping others that gratifies oneself. HERev has filled my heart with so much joy helping you all through your journey’s, and I know it has filled your hearts just as much.

Thank you for allowing me to share your journey with you and yours with mine. We are an evolution of women, revolutionizing the sport. Stay strong and know HERevolution may be closing her business doors, but she is not closing her heart, her connection, nor her journey. Keep HERev alive and continue to prosper, grow and kick butt! Who knows, maybe HERev will find another vein to circulate through.
